When Tony Haochab started at Step into Life Bassendean 4 years ago, little did he know that he would become a serious runner, yet alone be the first to
reach Step into Life Legend status in WA.
We interview Tony to find out more about his journey to achieving 10,000 Training Club points.
What has Step into Life meant to you?
Step into life has been a major part of my life in the last few years. It meant that I could be consistent with my training, in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere,
meeting lovely people and just not taking things seriously and really enjoying the workout.
What were some of your major fitness challenges when you first started?
When I started I had no fitness at all. I remember when I first did a 1km run and it was such an achievement for me. Then I went on from there to achieve
a few half marathons and doing lots of extra beach boot camp training.
What advice would you give to someone looking for a fitness training solution?
Step into Life is so much more than training club, I feel like it is a family to me. If you are feed up with the gym, or if you think training is a bit
boring, then Step into Life is definitely the training for you, as it’s anything but boring. I definitely recommend it.
