I joined the team at Step into Life Fulham Gardens in July 2013. At the time, I was just looking to try something different. I had been wanting to
play a team sport again but I hadn’t found anything that had the flexibility of fitting in with working shift work. Step into Life soon became
the answer I was looking for. I started off doing two training sessions a week and this soon turned into six to seven sessions a week as my passion
for training outdoors grew. Attending Step into Life sessions has now become a huge part of my daily routine to the extent that even my golden
retriever puppy knows the drill. I can tell when I have had a good week of training as my washing basket is full of mostly Step into Life shirts.
My Step into Life shirt collection has now grown so much that it almost takes up a whole drawer!
I often countdown to my next session. After working in a hospital environment all day, it is so nice to be outside in the fresh air training with my
trainers and growing friendship groups, regardless of whether its rain, hail or shine. I never get bored of coming to Step into Life as every session
is so different depending on the members present and the exercises we do. My favourite exercises are those that involve more running and combination
work in boxing. I am hoping these sessions will help me achieve my goal of doing a half marathon.
Becoming a part of the Step into life team further inspired me to complete my Certificate 3 and 4 in personal training. I have now been taking classes
and get to share my passion for training with my peers.A huge shout out to the trainers and team at Step into Life Fulham Gardens as it is your
energy and enthusiasm that keeps me coming out every day!
