Going Green Smoothie;
This month we are pleased to introduce you to the Step into Life Kitchen! Over the coming weeks we will be bringing you simple and healthy recipes for you to try at home.
Today, Step into Life Vermont South head Personal Trainer and owner, Amy Greer is in the kitchen making Vitamix 's "Going Green Smoothie" - a great way to fuel your body after training.
Ingredients:
80 ml (1/3 cup) ice cubes
55 g (1/3 cup) pineapple chunks
1/4 ripe banana, peeled, halved
30 g (1 cup) fresh spinach, packed
60 ml (1/4 cup) water
75 g (1/2 cup) green grapes
Method:
Place all ingredients into the blender.
Blend for 25 to 30 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
