Express Raw Cacao Mousse

Mousse for breakfast? Mousse as a NUTRITIOUS snack? You'd better believe it! You wouldn't know it from just looking at it (or even tasting it) but this raw cacao mousse mostly consists of just banana and avocado! It gets better - this creamy, decadent mousse is an absolute breeze to whip up - it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare! The perfect way to squeeze some healthy fats in to your diet for the day, this mousse can be great for workout recovery, does wonders for your skin health and brain functioning, while assisting in maintaining a healthy weight. 2 large, ripe bananas
1/2 large very ripe avocado
30 grams raw cacao powder (Note: not to be confused with regular "cocoa" powder" - try your local gourmet grocer or health food store for the healthier, less refined cacao!
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp alcohol-free vanilla extract
1 tablespoon maple syrup (Note: Not to be confused with maple flavoured syrup, which is the less healthy cousin of this natural sweetener)
1/2 tablespoon water
Add all ingredients to high-powered blender or food processor.
Blend for 30 seconds or until mix reaches smooth consistency.
Dish it up! Serve with fresh fruit (we love blueberries). Top with nuts if desired.
